G1 not updating

Because it has attracted low-quality or spam answers that had to be removed, posting an answer now requires 10 reputation on this site (the association bonus does not count).Some folks are reporting that you have to remove the batteries from an XPro transmitter before attaching it to USB to get the firmware updater to recognize it. Would you like to answer one of these unanswered questions instead?With Godox releasing quite a number of products recently related to their new new 2.4GHz X series TTL radio system, there has also been a lot of new firmware updates available for these products, as Godox work through refining and further integrating the system.Also to make things just a little more interesting, the current Godox firmware download page – only available in Chinese language.So Google Translate or similar will be needed to find the correct files (the Google Chrome browser is also very handy for fast translations).
There is also (at the time of writing this) no update software available directly for Apple Mac users. I have my helix 12 linked to my 1199 and I can no longer get si on my 1199.I’ll need to back up the update unless someone has a solution.If you are updating an AD200, AD360II, or AD600, make sure that you are using the USB port, not the USB-A port that is for attaching an FTR16 receiver if you want to use Godox's older 433 MHz radio system.
If you are using a micro USB cable and the G1/G2 software doesn't recognize the device, consider trying a different cable.
